Challenges...
I was browsing the web and stumbled across many beautiful blogs and their challenges, so this is the first time I am going to try out a challenge.
PPS: http://ppsuae.blogspot.com/2012/04/challenge-3.html had a challenge about a particular card layout, and another site, http://pixieduststudiopixiechallenge.blogspot.com/2012/04/challenge-122-ribbons.html had challenged to use 'Ribbon' on the card.
So, here's what I came up with...
Hope you like my card.

Mother's Day
Mom... is someone who inspires you to do things you dream of, helps you overcome any hurdles you face and supports you when the whole world is against you, well one can go on and on....
I am very lucky to have a Mom who, in every aspect was and is the perfect Mom.
When I am with my boys, I do think about how hard it must have been for her to bring us up when we were young, when there were not many of the present day luxurious amenities,
And each day goes thanking her to have brought us up the way she did, not just on the Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day Mom....!!!
Happy Mother's Day to Moms all over the world....!!!
Thanks for stopping by...... :)

Product Focus: Glossy Accents
Hi Friends,
Today's project has Glossy Accents as the product focus, and these are the results. I have always been a fan of the Ranger products. And Glossy Accents is one of my favorite, it is nothing but a clear glossy medium you can use to accent, brighten and magnify distinct areas on your projects. It gives a 3-D effect and is water based. You can also use it to stick tricky embellishments, or cover it to give an extra shine...
Here is a simple 3-D card.
The word 'Joy" stands out......I outlined Glossy accents over the letters to give an extra brightness and shine.
These flowers were first colored by copic markers and then given a liberal coat of glossy accents. The crystals on the flowers were adhered with, of course, glossy accents.
I used a silk ribbon from my collection to make a neat bow.....
This is a very simple card, the Maya Road stamp looks so perfect with a nice shine. One of the roses is done with plain Glossy accent while the other one and the leaves were sprinkled with glitter immediately after applying the glossy medium. It takes about an hour to dry, and you end up with some very satisfying results. Go ahead, add this medium to your craft supplies....

My card here is created with Western romance papers....
I used Fiskars border-corner punch for the borders, and added some glitter to the hearts...
This is how the inside of the card looks like to put in your special personal message.....
I used glossy accents to stick these little hearts.
And colored the flower with distress ink to match the words, 'I luv you"
